          Ann L. Rubick, 93, Spalding, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Pinecrest Medical Care Facility. She was born on January 20, 1923 in Manistique, daughter of the late Jack and Hilda (Malmberg) Langworthy.  Ann was lovingly raised by Lawrence Mortensen in Gulliver then Manistique. She  graduated from Manistique High School.
 
          On July 4, 1946, Ann married Frank Rubick at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Manistique. He preceded her in death after 46 years of marriage.
 
          Ann and Frank owned and operated Rubick's Inn in Spalding for 13 years, after which they retired to their home in Spalding where Ann lived out her remaining years.
         
          Ann enjoyed gardening, playing cards, reading, crossword puzzles, and cooking.
         
          She is survived by her two children: Richard Rubick of Chicago and Fran Shechter of Spalding; two grandchildren: Stefan Rubick and Stephanie Shechter; brother in law, Lawrence (Celeste) Rubick; and many nieces and nephews.
 
          Ann was preceded in death by her parents and husband , Frank.
 
          Friends may call from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. (CST) on Friday, November 11, 2016 at the Allo Coolman Funeral Home in Spalding. Funeral services will follow the visitation at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. with Fr. Michael Vichich officiating.
 
          Burial will be in Spalding Township Cemetery.
