           Arleen Joyce Walstad, 86, Escanaba, passed away on May 2, 2018 at the Bishop Noa Home in Escanaba. Arleen was a lifetime resident of Escanaba and a long-time resident of the Bishop Noa Home apartments. She was born in Escanaba on November 17, 1931 to the late Paul and Laura (Pederson) Walstad. 
 
          Arlene graduated from Escanaba High School and worked at Northern Michigan Bank and Trust as a bookkeeper. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and enjoyed crocheting, playing the piano and dinning at Schooner’s Café.  
 
          Arleen is survived by her dear friends Larry and Pam Boye and Virginia Hallfrisch. 
 
          She was preceded in death by her parents and sister: Elsie.
 
          Friends may call from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday May 5, 2018 at the Allo Coolman Funeral Home (400 S. 10^th Street, Escanaba).  A funeral service will follow the visitation on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Steve Gauger of Immanuel Lutheran Church officiating.  Burial will take place at the Lakeview Cemetery in Escanaba.
