70, Cornell, passed away on Friday February 1, 2013 at Christian Park Healthcare Center in Escanaba. She was born on September 18, 1942 in Escanaba, the daughter of the late Oscar and Francis (Loritz) Johnson. On June 22, 1963, she married Thomas Berthiaume at St. Joseph's Parish.

Barb loved working with her sons at the Skatin - Station and Midwest Truck Driving School where she retired from in 2011. She also loved the outdoors as she was an avid hunter, traveling with her husband, but mostly spending time with her very close family.

She is survived by her husband, three children: Tom (Marci) Berthiaume, Jim Berthiaume and Chris (Jerry) Newhouse, seven grandchildren: Tommy III, Austin, Parker, Cameron, Corey, Katia and Andrea nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Barb was preceded in death by her parents, one brother: Ralph Johnson and two sisters: Mary "Sis" Saharski and Joanne Roberts.

Friends may call from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Monday February 4, 2013 at the Allo Coolman Funeral Home in Escanaba. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Barbara L. Berthiaume will follow visitation at 6:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home with Fr. Eric Olson officiating.
