Billie Frances Pearson, 85, Gladstone, passed away on Thursday January 17, 2013 at her residence in Gladstone. She was born on July 18, 1927 in Nashville, TN, the daughter of the late James and Betty (Yarboagh) Buterbaugh.
Billie was a cook at different local restaurants for the majority of her life. She enjoyed quilting and visiting with her friends where she resided in Gladstone.
She is survived by her four children: Bette Evans, James Pearson, Gerri (Tony) Heintz and Keith (Karen) Pearson, one sister: Betty Jean Smith, one brother: Grant Buterbaugh, six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Billie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Victor Pearson, one son: Carl Pearson, one sister and three brothers.
Friends may call from 11:00 to 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday January 23, 2013 at the Allo Coolman Funeral Home in Escanaba. A memorial service will to celebrate Billie Pearson's life will be at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home with Minister David Grant officiating. A luncheon will follow services in the Bayview Manor dining room (217 Dakota Ave., Gladstone, MI 49837).
