          Darrell Michael Germain, 61, Hyde, passed away on Wednesday February 26, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family after a hard faught battle with brain cancer. He was born on August 28, 1958 in Escanaba, son of the late David and Therese (Dufour) Germain. On July 7, 1984 he married the former Vicki Cinquepalmi at St. Joseph's Church in Marinette, WI.
          Darrell is survived by his wife, four children: Derek Germain, Rachel (Matt) Karaja, Kyle (Becca) Germain and Laura (Dan) Sandahl, four siblings: Rick (Diane) Germain, Mary (Larry) Valiquette, Joe (Michele) Germain and Tim (Karen) Germain, grandchildren: Aubrey, Dante, Vincent, Giorgio, Sophia, Raelyn, Owen, Ondraya, Vaida, Terrence and Ashtynn, mother-in-law: Yvonne Cinquepalmi, and many nieces and nephews.
          He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant brother: Dale Germain and brother: Steve Germain.
          Friends may call from 12:00 (noon) to 2:00 p.m. (EST) on Monday March 2, 2020 at the Bark River Bible Church (1105 12th Road, Bark River, MI, 49807). A funeral service to celebrate the life of Darrell Germain will be at 2:00 p.m. (EST) on Monday at church with Pastor Brad Cochrane officiating. A luncheon will follow in the church fellowship hall. He will be laid to rest in the Escanaba Township Cemetery in the spring.
          Darrell's favorite color was blue, and his family requests everyone to wear anything blue and dress casual in his honor.
          The Allo Coolman Funeral Homes are assisting the Germain family.
