          Donna M. Nowotny, 76, Wells, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Christian Park Village. She was born in Wausau, WI on May 24, 1941, daughter of the late Sylvester and Mabel (Smith) Skalecki. On August 20, 1960, Donna married the love of her life, Thomas Nowotny, in Wausau, WI.
 
          Donna enjoyed playing cards, fishing, camping, spending time outdoors, and traveling around the country with Tom. She loved spending time with her friends and family.
 
          She is survived by her loving husband: Tom, children: Mike (Rita) Nowotny, Sandy (Steve) Valdez, and Jan (Mike) Peters, brother: Donald (Susan) Skalecki, brother in law: Bob Nowotny, eight grandchildren, one great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
 
          Donna was preceded in death by her parents, brother in law: Jack Nowotny, and sisters in law: Mary Peterson and Gerry Nowotny.
 
          Friends may call on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 from 11:00 am to 12:30 p.m at the Allo Coolman Funeral Home in Escanaba. Mass of Christian Burial will follow visitation on Wednesday at 1 p.m. at St. Thomas Church with Fr. Bryan Gerber officiating. A meal will follow in the church parish hall. Burial will be in Gardens of Rest Cemetery.
