Edward D. "Eddie" Lanaville, 53, Escanaba, went to Heaven on Sunday December 22, 2019 in Jackson, OH. He was born on May 29, 1966 in Escanaba, son of the late Henry and Marion (Belongie) Lanaville.
Edward had a great personality who loved to laugh and make others laugh. He also loved cooking and making dream catchers. Eddie will be missed by all his family and friends.
He is survived by five siblings: John Lanaville, Mose (Lisa) Lanaville and Richard (Cindy) Lanaville, two sisters: Janette (Mick) Mulhern and Donna (Tony) Gouin.
Edward was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters: Susan "Lanaville" Porath, Debbie "Lanaville" Carr and Patricia "Lanaville" Willyard.
Friends may call from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Thursday January 9, 2020 at the Allo Coolman Funeral Home (400 S 10th St., Escanaba, MI 49829). A memorial service to celebrate Eddie's life will follow at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with Fr. Rick Courier officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Gardens of Rest Cemetery in the spring.

"Eddie lived in an apartment above me and my son 20 years ago over by Hardee's in Escanaba. I enjoyed having him for a neighbor.. he always made me laugh. He was a great neighbor and we always joked that we had the best birthday because I too was born on May 29th 1966... My condolences to the Lanaville family."
