          Eileen L. Young, 90, Escanaba, passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Northwoods Place Assisted Living. She was born on July 9, 1928, daughter of the late Louis and Frieda (Fillis) Kickbusch. She graduated from Felch High School in 1947. On June 26, 1948, Eileen married the love of her life, Raymond Young, at Holy Family Church in Flat Rock. He preceded her in death in 1995.
          Eileen was a faithful member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church and Escanaba Knights of  Columbus Ladies Auxiliary Council #640. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting, camping, and cooking. After raising her family, Eileen was employed by Buschey Meats for many years.
          Eileen is survived by her children: Judy (Jim) Schimmel, Raymond Young Jr., Penny Crawford, Louis Young, and William (Laura) Young, grandchildren: Lara,  Jenea, Daniel, Jonathan, and Jessica, great grandchildren: Jonathan and Alexis, and sister: Elizabeth (Jack) Postuchow.
          She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Raymond, and siblings: William Kickbusch, Edith Kickbusch, and Richard Kickbusch.
          Friends may call on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Allo Coolman Funeral Home in Escanaba, 400 S. 10th Street. Mass of Christian Burial will follow the visitation at 1:30 p.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Wells officiated by Fr. Eric Olson. A meal will follow in the church parish hall. Burial will be in Gardens of  Rest Cemetery.
