           Elaine M. Anderson, 96, Escanaba, passed away on Thursday November 7, 2019 at the Bishop Noa Home in Escanaba. She was born in Escanaba, daughter of the late Edward and Mary (King) Poquette.
 
           Elaine lived all her life in Escanaba. She was a member of St. Thomas and St. Anthony Parishes. She took great pride in her vegetable and flower garden and also enjoyed working puzzles and playing cards.
 
          She is survived by her son: Duaine (Jan) Anderson, two sisters: Verna Solan and Annette (Mike) Greise, good friend: Carolyn (Glenn) Johnston, as well as several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 
 
          Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, three sons: David, Arnold and Thomas, and a sister: Betty.
 
          In keeping with Elaine's wishes, there will be no public services. Her family will celebrate her life at the graveside in the Escanaba Township Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to her son David.
 
          The Allo Coolman Funeral Homes are assisting the Anderson family.
