Condolences
  • "Our deepest sympathy. Gordon, Putski-as our boys called him with sincere respect because he was always keeping busy doing things, was a wonderful man. He was the Grandpa that lived here that came to their sporting events, birthday parties, and we could always stop by the house to say Hi! He was kind, sincere, and compassionate. We are all going to miss him. We feel blessed that we had Putski in our lives for as long as we did. Love, Matt & Kelly "

  • "Sorry to hear about Gordy's passing. I have know him for many years. Over the years on occasion he would mention the fact that he was a pallbearer. at who would be my older brother. Jack who passed away at just under 2 years of age of pneumonia. He would also mention the names of the other pallbearers, Mel Taylor was the only one I can remember. I never thought of his age at any of those times but as I read the obit I realized he was only 10 years old at that time. It must have been something to see 10 year olds as pallbearers. I will miss Gordy and his Schaffer stories of a long time ago. Buckshot "
