Helen T. Lustick, 92, Greenfield, WI, formerly of Escanaba, passed away on Monday November 1, 2010 at Vitas at Ruth Hospice House in West Allis, WI. She was born on August 20, 1918 in Osier, MI, the daughter of the late Edward and Eva (Morin) Lancour. On November 28, 1936 she married the late Louis Lustick in Rapid River.
Helen remained very active at St. Thomas Church, volunteering to help with any church affairs and helping others until moving to Greenfield, WI about seven years ago to live with her daughter. She was also the treasurer of Christian Mothers in Milwaukee, WI.
Helen is survived by her two children: Sandra LaBarbera and Raymond (Coleen) Lustick, two brothers: Roger (Joyce) Lancour and Gerald (Vernice) Lancour, two sisters: Nell Rae St. Onge and Sharon (John) Bates, five grandchildren: Erin (Isaac) Springer, Lindsay (Randy) McGraw, Anthony LaBarbera, Blake LaBarbera and Karen (David) Schmid, five great-grandchildren: Katie, Cara, Sophia, Ryan and Ava, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers: Maurice and Stanley Lancour and two sisters: Evelyn McNamara and Joyce Bartlett.
Friends may call from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday November 6, 2010 at Allo Coolman Funeral Home in Escanaba. A funeral service to celebrate Helen Lustick's life will follow visitation at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday at Allo Coolman Funeral Home with Fr. Emmett Norden officiating. Entombment will take place in the Holy Cross Cemetery Mausoleum.
