  • "I want to extend my heartfelt sympathy to Joan's family. I knew your mother from St. Thomas Ladies Guild. My husband, Craig and I were wed on June 23, 1986. Your parents were wed the year I was born. Joan was a lovely woman and I know you will miss her. I am sorry I will not be able to be at the wake/funeral as I am working that day but I am helping with getting the food for the meal. I would have loved to be the one to read at her Funeral Mass but my husband, Craig, said he would do it. May the memories you have of your mother bring comfort to you at this sad time. Spiritually she will be with you always. May you find comfort in God's loving arms."
