          Joann L. Pohl, 74, Hermansville, passed away Friday evening March 10, 2017 at Dickinson County Healthcare System in Iron Mountain with her loving family by her side.         She was born on November 8, 1942 in Detroit, MI, the daughter of the late Lyle and Dorothy (Monahan) Kinsey. On September 1, 1962 she married Melvin "Mel" Pohl in Pinckney, MI.
 
          Joann worked at Les Brown Chair Factory for many years. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Powers and she enjoyed going to rummage sales, playing cards and spending time with her family.
 
          She is survived by her husband, three children: Patti (David) Hudson, Mel Pohl Jr. and Dennis (Tanya Pavlat) Pohl, one brother: Roy Kinsey, four sisters: Charlene Christian, Gwen (Don) Gearhart, Sue (Carl) Pohl and Shirley Marshall, eight grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
 
          Joann was preceded in death by her parents, a son: Jeff Pohl, one sister: Dorothy Butzin, two brothers: Lyle Kinsey Jr. and Glenn Kinsey, a granddaughter: Josie Hudson and a great-grandson: Mathias Drake Beckett.
 
          A memorial service to celebrate the life of Joann L. Pohl will be held at 11:00 a.m. (CST) on Saturday April 1, 2017 at Grace Lutheran Church in Powers with Pastor Ron Zindler officiating. A luncheon will follow at 1:00 p.m. (CST) on Saturday at the William Anderson Sportsmans Club in Hermansville.
 
          The Allo Coolman Funeral Homes are assisting the Pohl family.
