John W. Anderson

          John W. Anderson, 65, Wells, passed away on Tuesday September 8, 2020 at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, WI, following a brief illness with cancer. He was born on February 9, 1955 in Marquette, MI, son of the late Ralph and Betty (Frimodig) Anderson. On October 8, 1977 he married the former Colleen McCarthy at St. Anne's church. Colleen preceded John in death in 2012.
 
          John worked at the Daily Press in his younger years and then as an audio visual technician and maintenance at Bay De Noc College until his retirement. He enjoyed volunteering time to help with anything at Camp Michigammee. John also enjoyed hunting, traveling, Geo Caching, photography and his time in the armature radio club.
 
          He is survived by his daughter: Trisha (James) Hood, a sister: Susan (Gerry) Rivard, two brothers: James (Chris) Anderson and David (Nancie) Anderson, as well as many nieces and nephews.
 
          John was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and an infant daughter: Shayla.
 
          At this time there will be no services. His family will celebrate his life at a later date.
 
          The Allo Coolman Funeral Homes are assisting the Anderson family.
