          June M. Peterson, 99, Escanaba, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday October 20, 2023. She was born on April 2, 1924 in Chicago, IL, daughter of the late William and Ethel (Brady) Crone. On November 13, 1943 she married the late Keith Peterson at St. Gertrude's Church in Chicago.
 
          June is survived by two sons: Ronald (Sandra) Peterson and Robert (Mary Jane) Peterson, seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, as well as great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
 
          She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1983, two brothers: George Crone and Robert Crone, two sisters: Ethel Smith and Frances French, and two nephews.
 
          Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Thursday October 26, 2023 at the Allo Coolman Funeral Home in Escanaba. A funeral Service to celebrate the life of June Peterson will be held at 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Thursday at the funeral home with Fr. Rick Courier officiating. Burial will follow services in the South Ford River Cemetery.
