Kim Marie Cossette
Date of Death: March, 22 2016

Kim Marie Cossette, 55, Escanaba, passed away peacefully with her loving family surrounding her Tuesday morning March 22, 2016 at her home. She was born on April 4, 1960 in L'Anse, MI, the daughter of Phyllis (Seratti) LaBranche and the late Jay Cossette.
There are few words that can describe how great Kim was. She lived life passionately and vigorously. Her top priority in life was to take care of her family and friends. She was the type of person that would give the shirt off her back, even if she was cold. Her work ethic was not only exponential for her family, but also for her business, which turned all relationships with her employees and customers into lifelong friendships.
Kim traveled the world and had many great stories of her experiences. She was strong, loving, adventurous and fearless as she loved skydiving, fishing, diving and hunting with her beloved son Josh. Kim had the most gentle, generous and caring personality, which showed to everyone she met. Although our bodies don't last forever, the love and relationships she created in her life will last forever in our souls.
Kim is survived by her son: Joshua Hoogerhyde, her mother: Phyllis (John) LaBranche, two brothers: Kelly (Jill) Cossette and Kirt (Marilyn) Cossette, her step-mother: Sue Cossette, many nieces and nephews and her beloved dog: Winston.
She was preceded in death by her father.
In keeping with Kim's wishes, there will be no public services at this time. A celebration of life is being planned for this summer.
The Allo Coolman Funeral Homes are assisting the Cossette family.

Energetic, kind, loving, charismatic, passionate, sharing, devoted, fierce, loyal and so strong, and class, she had class. What a strong lady in such a weak world. She was so loved in our community, and had such an impact. To say the least, she will be missed by many. It was a pleasure to know her. Our family will miss her greatly.
