Leo F. Beauchamp, 92, Wilson, passed away on Friday March 16, 2012 at Pinecrest Medical Care Facility in Powers. He was born on December 4, 1919 in Wilson, MI, the son of the late Edward and Saundry (Borden) Beauchamp. On May 27, 1950 he married the former Marvel Fazer at St. Patrick's Church in Escanaba.

Leo was a lifelong resident of Wilson where he owned and operated Leo's Service Station for over 39 years, which he retired from. After high school, Leo served his country as a medic in the US Army during WWII. He was a proud member of the Tony Revord American Legion Post # 244 for over 50 years. Leo also loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, gardening and spending time in his yard.

He is survived by his wife, one son: Daryl Beauchamp, one daughter, Dawn M. (Daniel) Wells, three brothers: Gerald (Norma), Clayton and Harvey (Grace) Beauchamp, two sisters: Gladys Klein and Olive (Cecil) Bowman, eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Leo was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter: Brenda Moniowczak, one brother: Ervin Beauchamp and two sisters: Joyce Asti and Elaine Johnson.

Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (noon) (CST) on Wednesday March 21, 2012 at St. John Neumann Church in Spalding with the Tony Revord American Legion Post #244 rites at 11:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 (noon) on Wednesday at the church with Fr. Michael Vichich officiating. A luncheon will follow Mass in the church parish hall. Burial will take place in the Spalding Township Cemetery.
