Lorraine A. "Gramma" Dugree, 88, Hermansville, passed away on Tuesday December 11, 2018 at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital in Iron Mountain with many loved ones by her side. She was born on December 19, 1929 in Carney, MI, the daughter of the late Felix and Alice (Draye) Frisque.
Lorraine graduated from Stephenson High School in 1949. She always looked forward to breakfast with family and friends after church on Sundays, but she will always be remembered for her love of all children which gave her the nickname that most everyone knows her by: Gramma.
She is survived by six children: Beverly Kleikamp, Gerald (Anna) Dugree, Louise (Joseph) Gagne, Anna (Stan) Tarris, Victor (Victoria) Dugree and Larry (Rita) Dugree, one sister: Agnes Scafidi, twenty grandchildren, thirty four great-grandchildren, one great great-grandchild, one sister-in-law: Joyce Frisque and numerous nieces and nephews.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Hector Dugree, two grandsons: Joseph Gagne Jr. and Todd Schatz II, two sisters: Rose Kleiman and Eleanor Gorzinski, two brothers: Vincent and Frank Frisque and three step-daughters: Norma, Verna and Edna.
Friends may call from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m. (CST) on Friday December 14, 2018 at St. John Neumann Church in Spalding. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 4:30 p.m. on Friday at church with Fr. Jacek Wtyklo officiating. A luncheon will follow Mass in the church parish hall. Burial will take place in the Meyer Township Cemetery in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Lorraine Dugree's name and a memorial will be established.
