Marion C. Kleikamp, 80, Powers, passed away on Saturday November 13, 2010 at Pinecrest Medical Care Facility with her family by her side. She was born on November 26, 1929 in Niagra, WI, the daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Dembeck) Ponegalek. On October 25, 1947 she married the late Royal Kleikamp at St. Francis Xavier Church in Spalding.
Marion and Royal together owned and operated the 47 Tavern in Wilson for over seventeen years. Amongst her many enjoyments in life, her favorite was spending time with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Kleikamp is survived by seven sons: Jim (Jean) Kleikamp, Gary (Barbara) Kleikamp, Ronald (Pattie) Kleikamp, Michael (Carol) Kleikamp, John Kleikamp, Bernard (Patty) Kleikamp and David (Sharon) Kleikamp, two daughters: Donna (Steve) Cappaert and Diane (Allen) Sacheck, one sister: Genevieve Chartier, twenty-one grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and an infant granddaughter: Karen Kleikamp.
Friends may call from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. (CST) on Thursday November 18, 2010 at St. John Neumann Church in Spalding. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow visitation at 5:00 p.m. (CST) on Thursday at the church with Fr. Michael Vichich officiating. A luncheon will follow Mass in the church fellowship hall. Burial will take place in the Spalding Township Cemetery.
