Date of Death: July, 20 2020

          Mary Ann (Forton) Butterworth, 76, of Escanaba, but passed away at her daughter's home in Birch Tree, Missouri on Monday, July 20, 2020. She was born on February 22, 1944 in Escanaba, Michigan, the daughter of Robert and Eva (Wells) Forton.
 
          She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Eva Forton; infant sister, Janice; and brother, Bob Forton.
 
          Survivors include two sons, Jerry Jacques of Merriville, IN and Gregory Jacques and wife, Jenny of Hudsonville, MI; daughter, Penny Thomas and husband, John of Birch Tree, MO; brother, Steve Forton and wife, Donna of Escanaba, MI; three sisters, Bonnie Forton of Escanaba, MI, Jeanie McIntyre of Escanaba, MI and Carol Moras and husband, Allan of Escanaba, MI; eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Mary had a great sense of humor. 
 
          She loved riding horses and her animals. She also enjoyed traveling, fishing, and in her younger years riding motorcycles.
 
          At this time services will be private for the family. There will be a funeral Service to celebrate Mary Butterworths life with Fr. Rick Courier officiating. Burial will take place in the Holy Cross Cemetery at 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday September 30, 2020.
