         Matthew Stephen Roschyk of Powers, Michigan died unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at the age of 34. Matt was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin on October 27, 1986 to Stephen and Cathy (Brnak) Roschyk at St. Catherine’s Hospital. He was educated in Kenosha Wisconsin; Jeffery Elementary, Washington Jr. High, and was a graduate of Mary D. Bradford High School. He attended Gateway Technical College of Kenosha, Wisconsin earning two associate degrees. He was an apprentice steamfitter with UP Local 111.  He was certified in various skills. He  worked across the country in has trade.  Family vacations took the family to many parts of the United States, including the entire eastern coast, the northern plains area, and Matt even enjoyed the opportunity to attend and graduate from the NASA space camp program.
 
Matt always lived for speed and adventure. He loved his many vehicles; his prized possession was a Ford F-350. His favorite thing to do was spending time with his daughter, Lilliana. His interests included working at the cabin, fishing, hunting, spending time with family, fantasy football, the Green Bay Packers, and Nascar.
  
           Matt is survived by his daughter, who was his world and the love of his life, Lillianna Jean Roschyk; both of his parents Stephen and Cathy (Brnak) Roschyk; his older sister Amy (Christopher) Wheeler; his three nephews Ryan Usinger, Cody Usinger, and Ethan Wheeler. He is also survived by many aunts and uncles. He is also survived by his best friend, who was like his brother: Christopher Schmitz and the Schmitz family. He also will be missed by his favorite cat Rambo.
 
          Matt is proceeded in death by both his maternal and paternal grandparents; maternal uncle and two paternal aunts.
Interment will be private at the Spalding Township Cemetery in Spalding, Michigan. There will be a celebration of his life at a later date.
