          Norbert E. Schultz, 77, Hermansville, passed away on Friday March 24, 2017 at his residence. He was born on January 22, 1940 in Hermansville, son of the late Albert and Vivian (Midle) Schultz. On October 9, 1959, Norbert married the love of his life, Barbara Helmer, at St. Mary's Church in Hermansville.
          Norbert enjoyed volunteering at the Hermansville Senior Center for many years until his health declined. He also enjoyed gardening, carpentry, puttering in the garage, and traveling with Barb. Norbert will be remembered for his love of children, his sense of humor, kind smile, and his quick wit.
          He is survived by his loving wife: Barb, daughters: Leigh Ann Salter, Cheryl (Dale) Graham, and Michelle (Lance) Collins, grandchildren: Bradley (Hannah) Lauscher, Kristin Graham, Stephanie (Nathan Asplund) Lauscher, Nicholas (Bailey Monson) Graham, Kayla Salter, and Richard Graham, great grandchildren: Andrea, Hunter, and Joseph, brothers: Raymond (Barbara) Schultz, and James (Rosemarie) Schultz, sisters in law: Roselyn Schultz and Sharon Schultz, as well as many brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, and nephews.
          Norbert was preceded in death by his son in law: Thomas Nelson, brothers: Melvin, Leonard, and Gerald, and sisters: Annamae Noel and Arline Burg.
          Friends may call on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 from 2 to 4 p.m. (CST) at St. John Neumann Church in Spalding. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 4 p.m. (CST) at St. John Neumann Church with Fr. Jacek Wtyklo officiating.  A meal will follow in the parish hall.
          In lieu of flowers memorial may be directed to Dickinson County Cardiac Rehab.
          The Allo Coolman Funeral Homes is assisting the Schultz family.
