Norma J. Wendricks

         Norma J. Wendricks, 94, Hermansville, passed away on Wednesday December 21, 2022 at Pinecrest Medical Care Facility in Powers. She was born on September 28, 1928 in Hermansville, daughter of the late Herman and Anna (Zimmerman) Desmarais. On June 17, 1950 she married the late William "Bill" Wendricks at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hermansville.
 
          Norma is survived by a daughter: Carol (David) Arnold, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, son-in-law: Daniel Broeders, daughter-in-law: Cheryl Wendricks, as well as many nieces and nephews.
 
          She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two children: Douglas Wendricks and Amy Broeders, two brothers: Joseph and George Desmarais, and two sisters: Doris Bouchard and Sandra Howard.
 
          Friends may call from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm (noon) (CST) on Thursday December 29, 2022 at St. John Neumann Church in Spalding. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 (noon) (CST) on Thursday at church with Fr. Benny Mathew officiating. A luncheon will follow Mass in the church parish hall. Norma will be laid to rest in the Meyer Township Cemetery in the spring.
 
          The Allo Coolman Funeral Homes are assisting the Wendricks family.
