From hauing railroad ties from their sawmill to the dock in Cornell, Dodging each other with the logging trucks when we met. He had the old yellow Reo. Only 13/15 yearsold then. "Norm and I lived on the Boney Falls Road a few miles apart and rode the same school bus to the school in Cornell with Mrs. Larsen the teacher. I relocated to another state and when I visited Escanaba and Cornell I would often seen this logging truck with Norman Plourde on the top of the cab. On the road to the farm I would pass the place where Norman kept his beautiful Percheron horses. Later years Norm and I had a mutual friend Eddie who kept me informed of Norm's life. To Norm's children my deepest sympathy. Rest in peace Norm. "
