Olga O. "Red" Robertson

Olga O. "Red" Robertson, 95, Hermansville, passed away on Saturday September 19, 2015 at Dickinson County Hospital in Iron Mountain, MI. She was born on May 16, 1920 in Hermansville, the daughter of the late Joseph and Valentina (Sudrio) Malone. On October 5, 1946 she married the late Percy Robertson at St. Mary's Church in Hermansville.
Red was a long time member of Floriano Stecker American Legion post #340 Ladies Auxiliary and St. John Neumann Church where she was a Sacristan server and in the choir for many years. She also loved playing cards with her friends, playing bingo, dancing, cooking and baking, but always looked forward to spending the holidays with her family.
Red is survived by her three daughters: Priscilla (Roger) Schuette, Pam (Stephen) Haluska and Paula (Russell) Faccio, two grandsons: Eric Haluska and Tyler Faccio, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1986, six brothers: Peter, Edward, Tony, Virgil, Levio and John Malone and one sister: Ida St. Juliana.
Friends may call from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday September 23, 2015 at the Allo Coolman Funeral Home in Spalding. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday September 24, 2015 at St. John Neumann Church in Hermansville with Fr. Michael Vichich officiating. Burial will follow Mass in the Meyer Township Cemetery. A luncheon will be held at the Floriano Stecker American Legion post #340 Hall in Hermansville.
