          Pauline Martina Thomma, 76, Escanaba, passed away on Tuesday February 9, 2016 at Mountview Northwind Nursing Home in Wausau, WI. She was born on May 27, 1939 in Escanaba, the daughter of the late Alfred and Lucille (Allard) Loritz.
 
          Pauline was a loving mother and grandmother with a generous spirit to all who were in need. She loved spending time outside gardening and loved baking, knitting and sewing things for her family.
 
          She is survived by her three children: Martina (Gary) Morley, Monte (Julie) Thomma and Matt (Hellen) Thomma, four brothers: Sonny (Cathy) Frappier, Larry (Linda) Dieter, Jimmy (Lori) Dieter and Randy Dieter, two sisters: Delores "Sis" (Jerry) Moras and Judy (Juan) Santiago, six grandchildren: Katie (Brian) Robinson, Robert Thomma, Erin (fiancé Ethan Harris) Morley, Casey (fiancé Ben Luong) Morley, Kyle Thomma and Patrick Thomma, two great-grandchildren: William and Hudson Robinson,   brother-in-law: Bill Flath, sister-in-law: Christine Deiter, as well as many nieces and nephews.
 
          Pauline was preceded in death by her birth parents, her step-father: Edwin Deiter,her husband: Edward Thomma, one brother: Roger Deiter and one sister: Patsy Flath.
 
          Friends may call from 12:00 (noon) to 1:30 p.m. on Friday February 12, 2016 at the Allo Coolman Funeral Home in Escanaba. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Pauline Thomma will be held at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home on Friday with Fr. Eric Olson officiating. Burial will follow services in the Gardens of Rest Cemetery. A luncheon will be held after burial at the Escanaba Eagles Club.    
 
          Her family would like to extend a special thank you to their extended family at North Winds Vent Facility in Wausau, WI, for all the wonderful things each and every caregiver did for mom and to all the residence whom mom touched. They became very good friends. For the past three years, this was our moms "home" and we say that from the bottom of our hearts.
