Rita D. Sauers, 86, Escanaba, passed away Thursday evening August 12, 2010 at Bishop Noa Home. She was born in Escanaba on June 15, 1924, the daughter of the late William and Wilma (Williams) Perron. In 1952 she married the late Henry "Hank" Sauers Jr. at St. Joseph's Church in Escanaba.
Rita is survived by her brother: Bill (Donna) Perron of Escanaba, a nephew: William (Julie) Perron and a niece: Kathryn (Tom) Richer both of Green Bay, WI.
Her parents and her husband preceded her in death.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday August 17, 2010 at St. Joseph & St. Patrick's Parish with Fr. Eric Olson officiating. Entombment will take place in the Holy Cross Cemetery.
The Allo Coolman Funeral Home of Escanaba is assisting Rita Sauers family.
