          Steven "Steve" Edward King, 72, Escanaba, passed away on Thursday March 3, 2016 at his home of natural causes. He was born on October 23, 1943 in Escanaba, the son of the late William "Bill" and Cecile (LaCrosse) King.
 
          Steve will be remembered by his family and friends as a very loving father and grandfather who had a wonderful sense of humor. He also loved the Green Bay Packers.
 
          He is survived by his son: Steven (Lisa) King Jr., two brothers: John (Cheryl) King and Jim King, three grandchildren: Chail, Trevor and Cherish King, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
 
          Steve was preceded in death by his parents and one brother: Billy Jack King.
 
          In keeping with his family's wishes there will be no public services.
 
          The Allo Coolman Funeral Homes are assisting the King family.

I got to know Steve ( he remembered me when I was little and knew my brothers and sisters) when Pete was in the Nursing Home and when he retired in Escanaba and moved back in the house. I saw him when I was visiting Irene or when he would take her to the Buck Inn. He was always very friendly"
