          Theresa M. Veraghen, 89, Flat Rock, passed away on Wednesday July 5, 2017 at Pinecrest Medical Care Facility in Powers. She was born on May 16, 1928 in Danforth, the daughter of the late Joseph and Ann (Chouinard) Fillion. On June 28, 1952 she married the late Walter Veraghen in Flat Rock.
 
          Theresa is survived by eight children: Dale Veraghen, Mary Dube, Dennis Veraghen, Joseph (Pam) Veraghen, Lynn Veraghen, Ricky (Tammy) Veraghen, Vickie Kolich and Brian Veraghen, one sister: Geraldine Derusha, thirteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, twelve great great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
 
          She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, nine brothers: Reyne, John, Laurence, Clarence and Henry Germain, Herman, Clifford, Phillip and Geral Fillion, four sisters: Ora Scalan, Margaret Chenier, Leona Delveaux and Rosella Flagstadt and two sons-in-law: Terry Dickerson and Nicholas Kolich.
 
          Friends may call from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Monday July 10, 2017 at the Allo Coolman Funeral Home in Escanaba. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday July 11, 2017 at Holy Family Church in Flat Rock with Fr. Francis Dobrzenski officiating. Burial will follow Mass in the Escanaba Township Cemetery. A luncheon will be held in the church parish hall.
