Condolences
  • "My many thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. I know Virgil best from the late 1970’s when he use to help us at F.W. Woolworths in the Mall. Vigil did great work and became a good friend of Bob Ott who was the general manager at the time and has also passed away this year in Wisconsin. Bob and Virgil attended my retirement party at the Civic Center in 2015 and that was the last time I remember seeing them. May God Bless Virgil and your family."

  • "I've known Virgil for so many years. His dry humor always made me smile. He was a great guy and I just always liked him! It's hard to lose a husband, father, brother, uncle, grandpa, but we rejoice knowing that he is now safely in the arms of Jesus. I'll see you all on Saturday! We've got a life to celebrate!"

  • "Praying for all of you during this time. Virgil was such an influence in my childhood, as was his entire family. His legacy continues to shape the lives of so many. I like to imagine him sitting with my mom and dad, talking about their children and soaking up the presence of Jesus. One day we will get the honor of joining them which is the hope that keeps us going! "

  • "What a joy it was to know Virgil! We pestered him so much (us kids) and so enjoyed it at holidays when he took his big movie camera out and took silly pictures. He was patient with us and his sense of humor will be missed. The Lord bless you, his family, in this time of loss. "
