Wave R. Gribble

Wave R. Gribble, 96, Hermansville, passed away on Monday September 19, 2011 at Pinecrest Medical Care Facility in Powers. She was born July 4, 1915 in Gladstone, MI, the daughter of the late Wilfred and Fern (Butler) Bezner. On July 21, 1940 she married the late James Gribble in Gladstone.
Wave was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Hermansville, past president and treasurer of the United Methodist Women, a charter member of Men-O-Mee and a member of the Pythian Sisters. She also enjoyed playing cards, playing bingo, bowling, shopping, traveling and going out to eat.
Wave is survived by two daughters: Janet (Frank) Ducat and Barbara (Clancy) Kell, eleven grandchildren: Suzanne, Sharon, Sandi, Steven, Patricia, Karen, George, Gerald, Kathy, Chris and Peter, seven great-grandchildren: John, Maddy, Katelyn, Oliver, Seamus, Kirsten and Megan as well as nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, daughter: Patricia Wills, infant daughter: Sharon Gribble and one brother: Wayne Bezner.
Friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. (CST) on Saturday September 24, 2011 at the First United Methodist Church in Hermansville. A funeral service will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. (CST) on Saturday at church with Pastor Christine Bergquist officiating. A luncheon will follow services in the church fellowship hall. Burial will take place in the Gardens of Rest Cemetery in Wells.
