         Barbara Joanne Schultz, 81, Hermansville, passed away on Friday November 8, 2024 at Pinecrest Medical Care Facility in Powers. She was born on July 8, 1943 in Norway, MI, daughter of the late William and LaRayne (Nora) Helmer. On October 9, 1959 she married the late Norbert Schultz at St. Mary’s Catholic church in Hermansville.
 
          Barbara greatly enjoyed helping others, which gave her the passion she had for over 20 years as a Coordinator at the Hermansville Senior Center. She also helped and volunteered in many other aspects in her community. Barbara’s greatest love was spending time with all her grandchildren, especially her dearly loved great-grandchildren.
 
          She is survived by two daughters: Cheryl (Dale) Graham and Michelle (Lance) Collins, six siblings: Donna Wickman, Paula (John) Holmes, Kara (Pete) Benda, Raymond (Kathy) Helmer, Beverly (Dean Hall) Helmer and Gary Helmer, two sisters-in-law: Lisa Bruette and Nancy Erickson, six grandchildren: Nicholas (Bailey) Graham, Kristin (Gordy) Busick, Richard (Geri) Graham, Bradley (Hannah) Lauscher, Stephanie (Steve) Lauscher and Kayla Salter, nine great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
 
          Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Norbert, a daughter: Leigh Ann, two brothers: Eric and Charles “Chum”, a sister: Sandra and a son-in-law: Thomas Nelson.
 
          Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (CST) on Thursday November 14, 2024 at the Allo Coolman Funeral Home. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Barbara Schultz will be at 1:00 p.m. (CST) on Thursday at the funeral home with Fr. Rick Courier officiating. Burial will take place in the Meyer Township Cemetery. A luncheon will follow in the William Anderson Sportsman’s Club in Hermansville.
