Dennis W. Guindon, 74, Escanaba, formerly of Thornton, IL, passed away peacefully on Saturday April 23, 2022 at his home with good friends by his side. He was born on October 24, 1947 in Escanaba, son of the late Henry and Elizabeth (Brown) Guindon.
Dennis had many great attributes, but his greatest one and the one that brought the most joy to him was helping all children in the community, doing whatever he could for them and the Escanaba school programs.
He is survived by a special friend of 20 years: Joyce Bell, two brothers: David (Gloria) Guindon and William Guindon, a sister: Mary (Michael) Stubblefield and extended family and good friends.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, his son: Todd Guindon, an infant granddaughter: Karen Guindon and a brother: Donald Guindon.
Friends may call from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Monday May 2, 2022 at the Allo Coolman Funeral Home in Escanaba. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Dennis Guindon will follow visitation on Monday at the funeral home at 5:30 with Fr. Rick Courier officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Lakeview Cemetery.
