"Gary and Bob,
Your mom was a very special person and I always enjoyed visiting with her when I am in Escanaba. She loved my dog Lily and Lily adored her too!
I have many fond memories growing up next door to the Kleiman's. Take care and I'm sorry I won't be able to attend the funeral.

"Dearest Bob and Gary, Lois took me a few times to see your mom and we always enjoyed our visits. As Rick said above there are so many fond memories of our "special" neighborhood. My fondest memory of your mom was sitting in our garage while my dad was grilling and she belted out the tune "I Left My Heart In San Francisco", What a voice! I am sorry I won't be able to make it to the funeral but you will all be in my thoughts. Be strong.
Love to all,
Susie Coplan"

"This is hard for me to do. We were friends for over 60 years and had very much in common. We were both born in May, received the same scholarship and I took her place as surgical nurse at OSF when she retired to have her family. I am sending a card with several pictures for you to have. She as Rick said loved dogs and especially Lily. We also took Lily with us on our visits. Love you and she will be missed but in a much better place. Lois"

"My Aunt Dots was a very special grand lady!
Dots was in nurses training when we lived in the Chicago area. She spent many wonderful weekends with us in those years. Ten years later I followed in her footsteps and graduated from St Francis school of nursing. When she and Hunce moved next door to her sister Marguerute (my Mom) in Arkansas we got to spend many special times
together.
So truly sorry for the loss."

"Aunt Dots was a very special lady and we spent many happy times with her when you all lived in Escanaba. Right after I retired my sister and I went to Escanaba to visit my dads grave (Bob Eis) and we stayed with your mom - she fixed us a wonderful dinner and we spent the evening reminiscing past years. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families. I will miss my"Aunt Dots".

"Dear Gary and Bob,
I was very saddened to learn of your mom's passing. She was in every sense a truly gentle person. Your mom literally saved my dad's life by taking unprecedented action. This will forever tie our two families. One thing we can all be assured, she will get her fair share of strokes out of Steve on their first round together "upstairs".
God bless the Kleiman family
