          Douglas "Doug" A. Hansen, 56, Powers, passed away on Saturday February 16, 2019 at Dickinson County Healthcare System in Iron Mountain with his loving family by his side. He was born on February 18, 1962 in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Gary and Judith "Judy" (Kurth) Hansen.
          Doug enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially teaching children how to fish and helping anyone learn how to catch their first fish at his pond.  
          He is survived by his parents, two sons: Daniel and Tyler Hansen, two brothers: Dennis (Lisa) and David (Michele) Hansen, as well as nieces and nephews.
          In keeping with Doug's wishes, there will be no public services. His family plans to celebrate his life this spring together.
          The Allo Coolman Funeral Homes are assisting the Hansen family.
