          Joseph "Joe" John Bozzo, 45 of Escanaba passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday June 28, 2022 in Battle Creek Michigan. He was born on September 1, 1976 in Lansing Michigan. Joe graduated High School in 1995 in Gladstone, MI at the John F. Fitzgerald Alternative School.
 
          Joe is proceed in death by his parents: Richard and Martha (Wickham) Bozzo, his paternal grandparents: Joseph "Joe" and Irene Bozzo of Lansing MI, his maternal grandparents: Albert "Bert" and Dora Wickham of Houghton Lake, MI and Gladstone MI, his paternal uncle: Lawerence "Larry" Bozzo of MI, his maternal aunt: Nancy Carissimi of Houghton Lake MI, and his maternal cousin: Heather Wickham . Joe leaves behind his beloved sister: Gina Bozzo of Bark River MI, his children Taylor, Brennan, Nicklas "Nick" Shanahan, their mother: Leah Murphy, and grandchildren: Brookelyn, Jerzie, and Jackson all of Escanaba MI. His nephew and Godson: Philip LaMarch of Escanaba MI, his nieces: Payten Zowie Bozzo of Bark River, great-niece: Viviana and great-nephew: Graysen of Escanaba. Joe also leaves behind the family he found in the Skerbeck Carnival along with aunts, uncles, cousins and many good friends.
 
          Joe was a huge sports fan especially football," GO Sparty Go". He loved music and could always be found listening to it loudly or with his ear buds in. Joe enjoyed playing his guitar for his friends and family and video games. Joe was a joker. He liked to tease and joke around. Joe will be missed dearly by those closest to him.
 
          The family will have a private memorial for him when the Skerbeck Carnival comes to the Upper Peninsula State Fair in Escanaba Michigan in mid August. The family asks for privacy at this most difficult time.
