Robert "Bob" T. Farley

          Robert “Bob” T. Farley, 79, Powers, passed away on Sunday September 29, 2024 at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay with his loving family by his side, following a brief illness. He was born on June 6, 1945 in Escanaba, son of the late George and Ethel (Maves) Farley. On August 1, 1970 he married the former Sharon Davis at St. Frances Xavier Church in Spalding.
 
          Bob graduated from Hermansville High School and then enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, proudly serving his country as an aircraft mechanic and assisted in hurricane hunting missions. He later worked at Harnischfeger in Escanaba until its closure. Bob then joined the Operating Engineers Local #324 and worked in that field until his retirement.
 
          Amongst his many hobbies, one of Bob’s greatest loves was spending time with his grandchildren who all call him “Bumpa”.  Whether it was hunting, camping, or making maple syrup the kids were there to help.
 
          Bob is survived by his loving wife, two children: Brad (Bobbi) Farley and Todd (Angela) Farley, a brother: John (Caron) Farley, two sisters: Cheryl (Leon) Knapp, and Kathy (Elliot) Walters, four grandchildren: Austin, Carter, Serenity and Faith, good childhood friends: Lance and Skip, as well as many nieces and nephews.
 
          He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Jim and George Farley and a sister: Marilyn Sargent.
 
          Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (CST) on Friday October 4, 2024 at the Allo Coolman Funeral Home in Spalding with Tony Revord American Legion post #244 rites at 12:45. A funeral to celebrate the life of Bob Farley will be held at 1:00 p.m. (CST) on Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Gagne officiating. Burial will follow in the Spalding Township Cemetery.
