          William "Bill" H. Wendricks, 84, Hermansville, passed away on Thursday August 28, 2014 at Dickinson County Hospital in Iron Mountain. He was born on June 13, 1930 in Nathan, MI, the son of the late William and  Virginia (Buchonville) Wendricks. On June 17, 1950 he married the former Norma Desmarais at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hermansville.
 
          In 1975, Bill, Norma and Doug started Wendricks Truss. Bill along with most of his family continued to work in the family business until his retirement. He also worked many years as a carpenter and enjoyed working in the woods, in his wood shop and on the family farm. Bill loved spending time with his loved ones.
 
          He is survived by his wife of 64 years, their three children: Douglas (Cheryl) Wendricks, Amy (Daniel) Broeders and Carol (David) Arnold, his sister: Beatrice (Donald) Hornik, eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, his loyal pet: Penny and many nieces and nephews.
 
          Bill was preceded in death by his parents and one brother: Norman Wendricks.
 
          Friends may call from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. (CST) on Tuesday September 2, 2014 at St. John Neumann Church in Spalding. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 5:00 p.m. (CST) on Tuesday at church with Fr. Emmett Norden officiating. A luncheon will follow Mass in the church parish hall. Burial will take place in the Meyer Township Cemetery.
